Assigning the Channel to a Display

The new channel Single Portrait Campaigns we created in the article in Creating a New Channel now needs to be assigned to a Display so that the content can be played and viewed.


1. Browse the Locations folder and find the display to which you want the channel assigned. Select/tick it & Select Dashboard in the Top Nav menu.


2. Select the Options menu (3 dots) for ASSIGNED CHANNELS & SCHEDULES. Select Assign Channel


3. In the Channel Path field, browse to & select the Channel that you just created. If you have multiple Channels assigned to the Display, make sure that Priority is set to the Highest Value if you want the channel to play. 

4. Select the 3 Mandatory Supported Events (Initial Load, Idle Screen & Timer). Then Save.


5. Finally you need to Publish all the Changes that you have just made to the Display. Select/Tick the Display & select Manage Publication. Follow the publish steps.
