Sometimes a Channel may not automatically play on a Display - even after going through normal publish process & making sure that the priority for that Channel is set higher than other channels assigned to that Display.
In this scenario, we suggest 'Dirtying the Channel'.
It is a work around which addresses any caching issues that may prevent a Channel from updating on Connected Devices/Displays.
1. Go to the channel which is presenting the problem. Select it and choose Edit highlighted below in red.
2. A new browser Tab will appear. Making sure you are in Edit mode choose any asset from the DAM add it to the campaign and then immediately delete it.You can now close this browser Tab.
3. Go to the channel and select it. A menu will appear along the top. Choose Manage Publication.
4. The Manage Publication two step process appears. Publish is preselected so select Next. Then, on the following page select Publish.
