This section assumes that you have installed the Personalisation Hub AEM Package & successfully connected AEM Screens to the Personalisation Hub Platform.
Where you want to Target Multiple Different Campaigns using the same Rotation in a Channel, you can use Boost Values to control which Campaigns take priority (the higher the Boost the higher the Priority).
1. Let's First Create an AEM Segment that has a Higher-Boost Value. See article Creating New Segments / Audiences.
In Step 7, please use a different Name (i.e. Higher Boost) and set the Boost Value to 80.
2. Next Follow Steps 2 & 3 shown in the article Targeting Different Campaigns within the same rotation
to Add the New Higher Boost Segment/Experience to the Single Portrait Activity.
3. Now select the Higher Boost Experience and Drag & Drop the Higher Boost Creative into the 2nd Component. You should see the following when the Newly Added Experience is selected.
4. Publish the Updated Channel. Follow the steps Dirtying & Republishing a Targeted Channel
5. Now when both 'Demo Audience 1' & the 'Higher Boost' segments resolve at the same time, the Higher Priority (Boost) Campaign will be shown. Hopefully by now you can determine exactly what will play in each scenario (see summary below)
If BOTH Demo Audience 1 & Demo Audience 2 Segments Resolve, the following will Play:
Default 1 > Demo Audience 1 > Demo Audience 2
If BOTH Demo Audience 1 & Higher Boost Segments Resolve, the following will Play:
Default 1 > Higher Boost > Default 3
If BOTH Higher Boost & Demo Audience 2 Segments Resolve, the following will Play:
Default 1 > Higher Boost > Demo Audience 2
If ALL 3 Segments Resolve Default 1 > Higher Boost >
Demo Audience 2
