Staff Availability is one of the Main Drivers when determining a Visitor's Estimated Wait Time.
When Staff are Assisting Visitors in the Queue, their Status is updated automatically as they Start Serving Visitors (Status Set to "Serving Customer") and Finish Serving Visitors (Status Set to "Available").
There are a number of situations, where Staff will Need to ensure that they Manually Update their Status themselves.
For Example:
- Set Status to "Unavailable" once they have finished serving Customers and before they Logout for the Day (i.e. at the end of their shift)
- Set Status to "Unavailable" when they are Assisting a Visitor not in the Store Queue
- Set Status to "Unavailable" when they Take a Break during their shift
When a Staff Member has their Status Set to "Unavailable" and they subsequently Pick-Up a Visitor from the Queue. Once they are Finished Assisting that Visitor, their Status will be returned to "Available".
