SET-UP | Enabling Digital Signage

The Platform allows Brands to seamlessly introduce Digital Signage into their stores/locations. The Steps below will walk you through how to enable digital signage within each of your stores/locations.


High Level Steps to launch Digital Signage:

1. Enable Digital Signage from HQ Admin

2. Set-Up your MDM/CDM to auto launch PWA Kiosk Player

3. Enable Digital Signage within your Stores/Locations

STEP 1 - Enable Digital Signage within the Platform:

1. Login to HQ ADMIN & Click on PLATFORM ADMIN (bottom of the Left Hand Nav menu).

2. Click on 'Digital Signage'

3. On the 'Digital Signage' page, toggle Enable Digital Signage to the ON/BLUE position (see screenshot below)

4. The following information shown on the page will be used to set-up your respective MDM/CDM solution, initially leave these settings as they are (see STEP 2 below)

5. ALTERNATIVELY, simply copy the PWA Player URL and paste it into your device's browser (Please Note: the respective browser must support Progressive Web Apps)



STEP 2 - Set up your MDM/CDM to Auto Launch PWA Player

In the steps shown below, we'll walk you through how to do this using Google Chrome Device Management. Please refer to your respective MDM service providers documentation on how to do this for your respective devices.


1. Create a New Organisational Unit (OU) in Google CDM Admin

2. Navigate to Devices > Apps and extensions & select the Kiosks Tab


In the steps below > Toggle Between the above Digital Signage Tab (#A) and the CDM Set (#B)


3A. Open HQ ADMIN Tab | From the above Digital Signage Page > Copy the PWA Player URL (select copy link icon)

3B. Open CDM Set-Up Tab | Select Yellow + Icon (bottom right), select 'Add by URL', Paste the URL & select 'Save' (select AGREE on the Pop-Up that gets shown).


4A. Open HQ ADMIN Tab | From the above Digital Signage Page > Chrome Extension ID (select copy icon)

4B. Open CDM Set-Up Tab | Select Personalisation Hub Player, in the right column scroll down, select ADD EXTENSION & select 'Add from chrome Web Store' (see screenshot below). On the Pop-Up shown, paste the copied ID into the 'Search by ID' field and press 'Select'.





5A. Open HQ ADMIN Tab | From the above Digital Signage Page > scroll down to the JSON code box, in the top corner select 'Copy JSON to Clipboard'.

5B. Open CDM Set-Up Tab | Once the Extension has been assigned to the Player, press the arrow (highlighted in the screenshot below) & Paste the copied JSON file into the Enter JSON value field.




6. Press the 'SAVE' Button at the top rights side of the Screen



STEP 3 - Enable Digital Signage within a specific Store/Location.

1. Login to HQ ADMIN & Click on STORES / BRANCHES (bottom of the Left Hand Nav menu).

2. Click on the 'Store's Name' to open the Store Details Page (alternatively simply click on 'Enabled Features' column next to the Store's name)

3. Select 'Enabled Features' Tab

3. Set the 'Digital Signage' toggle to ON (see screenshot below) for the store/locations that you would like to launch digital signage in
