Localise Campaigns | Adding Store Segments

Modified on Thu, 20 Nov at 1:38 PM

Once you've defined your localisation strategy (see the following blog post for assistance with this).

Next step is to add the store segments to Personalisation Hub and launch campaigns that are targeted at those segments and control exactly which campaigns will play in each of your different stores/locations.

1. Walk-through Video Guide

2. About different types of Store Segments

Fixed Store Segments: Controlled by Headquarters and only visible to Headquarters staff

Variable Store Segments: Controlled by both Retail Store Managers and Headquarters and visible to all staff.

3. Step-by-Step Guide

  • Login to HQ Admin
  • Navigate to Company Settings > Store Segments (.../hq-admin/company-settings/retail-settings/segments)
  • Add the desired Variable & Fixed Store Segments

  • Navigate to Stores & Branches (.../hq-admin/stores-branches)
  • Select the Store(s) that you would like to Assign the created Store Segments to
  • Add the Variable/Fixed store segments to each store
  • Press 'Save Changes'

4. Add Targeting Rules to your Campaign

  • Open the Campaign that you want to Target (.../hq-admin/campaigns)
  • Select the 'Audience Targeting' Tab
  • Add a New Targeting Rule by selecting [+ Add New 'AND' Condition]
  • Select the 'Store / Location Data' from the First Drop Down Menu
  • Select Variable/Fixed Store Segments from the Second Drop Down menu
  • Select the appropriate Operator (e.g. 'includes selected')
  • Add the respective store segments for the stores that you would like this campaign to play in
  • Select 'Save Changes'

Please Note: Use the 'Store Segments (Consolidated)' option to add segments that could either be fixed or variable store segments. This option looks at the store segments for both fixed and variable store segments that have been added to a specific store.
